Sima and Vaea | Mount Vernon Lodge

Before Christmas - the week it rained absolutely non stop for days on end - I was lucky enough to join Sima and Vaea and co for their wedding at Akaroa’s beautiful Mount Vernon Lodge.Whilst the rain wasn’t exactly what they’d planned for the day, everyone stayed cosy in the cute cabins, and the ceremony was quite magical with the rain falling on the roof. We grabbed umbrellas and snuck off for a few pictures under the eucalyptus trees on the drive later in the afternoon.
